Students choose which modules they
wish to study. The timetable generator produces a
timetable, which takes into account all conditions
and constraints, attempting to accommodate all module
choices of students. Several administrative controls
on the timetabling process, so that an administrator
can explore various options to come up with a "Best
Fit". Tweaking possible through individual adjustments.
Each teacher
and student can view personal timetables, the Institution
can publish the overall timetable. Hosts of supporting
reports.

package for maintaining data on dairy cattle herds.
Initially developed for a Western Aid organisation
to monitor progress in & cross-breeding programmes
in developing countries, the package allows for maintenance
of Herd Books with considerable details, including
pedigree, services, calvings and milk recording. The
system provides for the preparation of Performance
Certificates, including Lactation Performance. A flexible
report generator allows ad hoc assessments to be prepared
easily and quickly. The system tracks exotic blood
content in progeny, and can assess actual and potential
inbreeding.
Successfully applied in Tanzania,
Bhutan and Kyrgyzstan. Can be extended or modified
to handle various other situations or
species.
